Plein air oil paintings are her frequent subject and all landscapes are done on location - in California from Morro Bay to Bishop to Mendocino. Many are familiar local scenes in Menlo Park, Palo Alto and the Bay Area. Other sites have been in Idaho, the San Juan Islands, New Mexico, Colorado and France.

Studies have been with notable artists including Ted Goerschner, Edward Norton Ward, Joyce Pike, Kevin Macpherson, Duane Wakeham, T.M. Nicholas, Bob Gerbracht and Charles Movali. She is active with the Menlo Art League, a Signature member and Treasurer of the Society of Western Artists and their Board of Trustees.

She is active with the Peninsula Outdoor Painters, a plein air painting group that paints every Tuesday on the S.F. Peninsula. During 2010 she will be participating in the Gamble Gardens 25th Anniversary paint out event on the weekend of July 16, 17 and 18. Check out their web site for details of the weekend.
